0013y’all know the ol’ saying…"beer before liquor you’ve never been sicker". Well I’d like to re-phrase that. "Beer before liquor you’ve never acted more like a moron". Yup this past saturday night was quite a night. We bbq’d, played bean bag and prolly drank 12 or so beers apiece. We then decided to have a bonfire. We got sick of beer and polished off a bottle of rum and whiskey.  My oh my what a trip!!!!. The pic on the left sums up what we ended up doing that night. It also involved smacking each other in the ass with a whiffle ball bat. damn those things hurt. Paul, PJ, Erik, Marti, Heather, Mike, Kim, and myself had one hellufa night at Kubacki’s Iron works and forging. Y’all missed out on a doozy. I look at these pics(located in New Pictures section) and wonder what the hell we were thinking. There was definatley something in the liquor saturday night. So those of you who know me fairly well know that I have a tendancy to sprain my ankle while drunk. 4 times in the last 2 years to be exact. Halloween, new years, two weeks after new years, and my last birthday. Well folks, chalk up number 5. I did it two nights ago. I got up around 3am to drain the tank(funny, i never do that). well my right leg was very asleep and i stood up and my ankle just folded like paper. I could hear the carnage and cartalidge ripping once again. I’m sure my ankle is asking how did this happen again. I’ve got my first mt. bike race in just over 3 weeks here folks. Bad timing. Today it feels ok and I think i’ll be able to ride. I was planning a good 70miler but we’ll see how the ankle holds up. Things have finally settled to just slightly stressful at the shop these days. two weeks ago I almost quit. seriously. Its going good now, and I’m loving wrenching once again. The newbies are working out great, and they are easy to get along with. Life is good at the shop….for now. Enough for today, time to finish off the coffee and toast, then head out on a nice ride. A bit chilly today, but its gotta be done. I’m out. Love. Peace. Bicycle grease.

I LOVE our parties and I LOVE St. Cloud

Img_0392_1Well, another party was a success. Yea thats a dude passed out in our backyard on a mattress. A good idea of how our party went last saturday. It was nice to see some of Kubi’s friends at a party too!!! We were bbqing and drinking the night away. We managed to drink our 16 barrel in a bout 3 hours. Not bad for a house party in suburbia hell. We had to run to S/A to get some 3/2 beer at like 10:30. good stuff. Chris’ co-worker brian decided to make some shishkabobes at like midnight. This guy had it all. Shrimp, Salmon, Chicken, Onions, Tomatoes, Green Peppers, the whole SHEBANGABANG. too bad i hate seafood and fish otherwise i woulda been all over that shit. A good drunken time. Speaking of drunken nights, last night I went up to St. Cloud to hang out with a couple-o-co-workers who are skoolin’ up there. What a night. First we were at Rum Runners for beer and pizza. $7 all you can drink beer and all you can eat pizza from 7-9pm. Lets just say Charlie and I were pretty ripped when we left there. After that we hit up MC’s Dugout for the infamous HAIRY BUFFALO. Never had one? The bar only lets ya drink 2 of em’. It consists of 151,tequila,vodka, and gin, topped off with a splash of orange juice and a squeeze of grenadine. Those things will FUCK you up beyond belief. A pretty crazy night in all. Back at Ian’s apt. Me, Charlie, and Nicole listened to Ryan blabble for a half hour about how much he likes to cuddle. It was absolutely hilarious. I wish I had recorded it. Good times this past week. Too bad I had to work on my ONLY day off this week. I was running on 3 hours of sleep too. I think tonight will be some popcorn, a movie, and the couch. somethings missing? Oh thats right, someone to cuddle with. Any takers? Until next time. Love. Peace, and Bicycle grease.Uptownwiththeboys_4
