Drunk_andyLast night was one for the ages. It was a Sunday evening, I was unwinding from a very blurry weekend eh? I was gonna do some brushing up on my wheel lacing, drink some High Life, and watch the closing ceromonies of the Olympics. I get a call from Kyle, he wanted to go to the Independent and have a few beers and some food. I said no, I’m gonna chill at home. He talks to Chris who then persuades me to go down there. I did. And OH MY!!! We get down there around lets call it 8:30ish, we belly up to the bar and get a cocktail. Kyle and I were drinking cap’n cokes with a lime, Kubi chose Grain Belt. After a few drinks we go back to Kyle’s(he had to drop off some books). Low and behold I see his one hitter sitting on the table. Smoking up followed, then followed by going back to the bar. This time Filio’s. At this point we’re very blazed and getting our buzz on. After a drink there we hit up The Uptown Bar across the street. $2.50 bottles of High Life. Yummy. This girl sitting next to Kyle was drinking Jamison and Bailye’s mixed on the rocks. She didn’t want it asked us. Chris grabbed it and chugged er’ down. Ick. By now we’re pretty messed up. The high was wearing off but the beer was strong. We go back to Kyle’s. Toke up some more. Leave and head towards The Drink. OH my GOD. Now we’re feeling grrrrrrrreat. Drink sucks we decide to go to Chino Latino. Best Bloody I’ve ever had. That followed up by a few glasses of house Merlot. At this point we’re so stoned and so drunk we can barely stand up. It felt great. We had some kickass taco’s then the night was over. THIS is why random nights rule all. I haven’t had that much fun for at least 4-5 months. I wish we brought a camera. SHIT YEA!!!! Monday rules, don’t work until Wednesday. Riding went well today, tomorrow I hope to get OUTSIDE on the bike. Time’s up, I’m off to fold some clothes, brew some beer(Castle Danger E.S.P. Then cook up some badass steak. Later guys. Hope you enjoyed my recap of last evening. Love. Peace. and Bicycle Grease

Super Bowl

Super_bowl

well, today is the big day. super bowl sunday. should be a good drunken sunday. we’ve got a crew headed down to Stub and Herbs at the U. i was watchin’ the beginning of the 6 HOUR pregame on espn this morning and they were covering an interesting topic. according to NFL rules a city that wants to host a super bowl and has an average temperature of 50 degrees or cooler in january must have an enclosed stadium. what the fuck? this is still a football game right? blood, sweat, tears. what about the ice bowl or that afc championship game in the early 80’s with a gametime temp of -12f? i hate how the super bowl is controlled these days by corporate america. ridiculous. they say that cold temperatures effect the outcome of a game. give a certain team an advantage. whats to make that any different then the rest of the season? who knows, maybe someday all football games will be played indoors. i hope that never happens. isn’t it sad to think that lambeau field will never host a super bowl again? think of all the beautiful stadiums out that that are effected by this. its too bad, and i hope things will change. im off guys, to drink myself silly and eat a bunch of greasy food. Happy Super Sunday everyone. i hope everyone enjoys their day. Love. Peace. and Bicycle Grease.
