I got the new System of a Down cd the other day. Its pretty bad ass. I like it a lot. I went to the mall on Wednesday and damn was it busy. I was at Rosedale and I wanted someone to kill me. So many people. And so many morons out there that don’t know how to drive. We spent the last two nights in Uptown at the Independant. Tami was off last night, we had some cocktails with her and her friend. And she invited us out Christmas night. Should be a good time. I tell ya what, the amount of time and money I spend at that bar I should just live down there. I love that place. So many good drunken stories. So today is December 24th. Christmas Eve. And I gotta say, I’m not all cheery like I usually am. I mean, I like hanging out with my family(getting blitzed with my uncles on my dad’s side is always fun) but this is the first christmas in 5 years now that I haven’t shared it with a special someone. I dunno, its just…..different, unfamiliar. I always loved that this time of year. Snuggling up with you’re lady, sipping wine and opening presents. I’m headed up to Giants Ridge again this year with the ski team for 4 days. Lots of skiing to be done up there. We’re gettin’ geared up here for our big new years eve party. I can’t wait. We finally have a shitload of snow on the ground in December. Its been too long since that last happened. I’ve been skiing on man made snow the last 4 Decembers at least. Its great. We have about 10 inches of snow on the ground right now. I wish we sold ski’s at the shop here. We only do snowboards. I don’t snowboard at all and I don’t like selling them. I’d rather sell skis. Whaddya gonna do eh? Damn, Christmas is less then a week away and I haven’t done any shopping yet. Uh, Oh. At least I know what I’m getting everyone. As we speak Chris is tearing up the slopes of Whistler, BC. Bastard. I get to spend 4 days up in Giants Ridge after Christmas and ski my heart out. That should be fun. What the hell. This post sucks. Ok guys. I have got to see Dane Cook live before I die!! Unfortunatley he’s not comin’ to town anytime soon. the closest place he’s gonna be is on the east coast. I think we should start a petition to get him to come to the cities for a show. I think he’s the funniest comedian out there right now. Who’s with me? I’m serious, lets get it going, whos with me? I love company parties. I mean it gives you the opportunity to get wasted in front of you’re superiors and have no worries. We had our party at Nyes Polonaise room last night. good times. Its safe to say the Maple Grove shop was representin’ with gettin’ our drunk on. I got my new glasses yesterday!! I was pretty stoked about that. I’ve got new pics of myself with em’ on. I found these shirts online the other day with a bunch of The Big Lebowski quotes and what not. I love that movie. Genious. We went to the Independant again last night. I love that place. I look foward to thursdays now more then the weekend. Tami and Sarah are the coolest bartenders in town. We were told the we are the fun croud in the bar on thursday nights. I just wish i lived closer so i wouldn’t have to drive so far every time. Last night was crazy. First i ran into a couple friends from high school i hadn’t seen in years, then i ran into my cousin, and then she told me my aunt and uncle were there, and then i ran into an old co-worker that works for my aunt. talk about a crazy chain of events. good times. I’ve been reading this book my manager is reading. Its called A million little pieces by James Frey. It takes a lot for me to read a book. I was hooked on this one 3 pages into it. Its about a man who had been drinking and doing drugs since he was 10 and his story about recovery at Hazleton in Plymouth. Talk about a man who’s been on more shit than i can think of. He was told at the age of 23 to either quit it all or he will be dead within months. Its well worth reading. Well its time to get back to work. take care. Love. Peace. and Bicycle grease.

well, thats what it is outside right now. wow, a bit chilly. its been awhile since my last post. i’ve had alotta shit on my mind. some of it good, most of it bad and i’ll leave it at that. we went to acapulco tonight for some food and beers. that place has the greatest deal on beer around. $3.50 for a 34OZ. tap beer of any kind, not just domestic, all day, every day. WOAH!! today was my first day on the ski’s. went out to Elm Creek. trail was good. groomed for skate and classic. only the 2.5k loop was open. i think i did that about 7 times before i got bored. just a little more snow and all the trails in the cities will be A OK. other then those two things i spent the entire day today cleaning up this house. it was turning into a shithole. i think i spent around 4 hours cleaning. what a mess. i would like to keep this place more clean on a regular basis, its just hard with 4 people and a dog. oh, well. it looks good now, we’ll see how long it lasts. i think my IPA might have bombed. so far its been a week and its not carbonated yet. it usually is by now. i’ll give it another week otherwise its a lose. god i hate that. all that work for nothing. trial and error i guess. its not been a good week for my favorite hockey teams. the gophers got their asses "you served" by the badgers this weekend. cripes, and the wild are on a 3 game losing streak. what the hell. at least the vikes are on a 5 game winning streak. its still early to start going nuts about the t-wolves. i bought a poker chip set tonight finally, can’t wait to get some good ol’ games of hold em’ going, i also bought "I heart Huckabee’s" tonight and i think ill leave you with that and go watch it. until next time, Love.
